FOR HONG KONG/NANSHA MAIN INCOB2007 EVENTS
FOR LOCAL PRC/HONGKONG PARTICIPANTS

STEP 0: Please apply by email to hxue __at__ ust.hk (Professor Hannah Xue Hong) with details of your application for sponsorship.

  • For early registrations, the result of your application will be released one week before 31 July 2007
  • For late registrations, subject to availability of the sponsorship, the result of your application will be released at least one week before the conference.

STEP 1: If sponsorship approved, you will be given a SPECIAL SPONSORSHIP CODE. Pay the following discounted rate below (using PayPal or Credit Card) and get payment Transaction ID.

STEP 2: Click "RETURN TO MERCHANT" and register your name etc for the conference with your Transaction ID and Special Sponsorship Code.

STEP 3: Produce your email containing the Special Sponsorship Code at the Registration Counter in HKUST. If you don't, you will have to pay the full registration fees. Only limited sponsorship codes available.

If you cannot pay by Credit Card or Paypal, you can use bank transfer (see below) to the APBioNet via the Secretariat.

Please note that you should also book and pay for your accommodation and your travel separately. Registration for this conference does not include travel from HKUST to Nansha.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE REGISTRATION

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the programme and speakers and activities in InCoB 2007 without prior notification.

The Registration Fee covers the attendance of any functions in the MAIN INCOB 2007 and does not include any fees charged for Tutorials or Special Interest Group meetings coordinated separately by the Tutorial or SIG coordinator. All Tutorial and SIG meetings are open only to fully paid-up registrants.

Note : Sponsorship Participants will be required to produce PROOF of their sponsored status at the event registration before entry is granted. If these participants fail to produce proof of status they may be required to pay the full Participant rate in order to be granted access to the event.

CANCELLATION

Any cancellation of the registration must be made in writing to the APBioNet Secretariat AT LEAST FOURTEEN (14) WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT in order to get full refund.

Refunds of registration fees (including banquet fees if applicable) for cancellations made during the valid time period stated above, will be made WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE EVENT.

Cancellations not made AT LEAST FOURTEEN (14) WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT will result in all registration fees being forfeited.


OFFLINE REGISTRATION
FOR HONG KONG/NANSHA MAIN INCOB2007 EVENTS

If for some reason, you cannot make payment by the above ONLINE method, you can pay by inter-bank wire transfer. We do not recommend this method as it costs a lot more effort. For this reason, please add an extra USD 50 to the payment for processing charges. We will send you an invoice if you can send email to us at payment --at-- apbionet.org with your category of payment. We will add the extra costs to your invoice. In the invoice, we will give you details of the Bank Details as follows.

STEP 1: Payment must be made first using Bank Transfer and a payment ID obtained, typically the Bank Wire Advice Slip or receipt document. Scan the copy of this document in PDF or jpg and mail it to us at the same address.
The Payment Bank Details will be posted to you with the invoice.

STEP 2: Email to the email address: payment --at-- apbionet.org the following Registration Form duly completed and attach the document obtained in Step 1 for the Main InCoB2007 events in Hong Kong and Nansha can be made with the Payment ID.

Bring your letter of invitation and your receipt to the conference registration booth on the day of arrival at the conference.
