As Oracle’s CMIO Rob is responsible for channeling Oracle’s healthcare R&D investments into the development of new products and services that will help providers and life sciences companies transform the practice of medicine.
Most recently Rob created, and then led the development and marketing of, Oracle’s enterprise healthcare data warehousing and analytics suite of products that have been acquired by nearly 100 hospitals.
Before joining Oracle, Rob founded speech recognition software company that was acquired by Oracle. Rob was also a co-founder of a gene therapy startup and has served as a consultant and scientific advisor to several biotech companies. Rob is a primary care physician and graduate of UCLA School of Medicine. Rob received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology at UCSD.
