GENERAL INFORMATION
VISA Information
Foreign attendees of InCoB 2009 would need a "business visa" (which is also called an "entry pass for social visit") for entry into Singapore.
For citizens of most countries, this can be obtained on-the-spot at the Singapore Changi Airport.
But for citizens of some countries, this visa should be obtained in advance. These countries are: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Commonwealth of Independent
States, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen.
Please do NOT apply for the "professional visit pass", as it is not for speakers and attendees of scientific meetings.

Travel Grant
A modest fellowship fund is available to assist students and post-doctoral trainees in attending InCoB 2009 for the purposes of presenting their paper/poster.
Only one author for a paper/poster will be eligible for a travel grant. Applications for travel awards are hereby invited. All travel grant applications must be received before 28 June 2009. Award decisions will finalized by 11 July 2009, at which time
applicants will be notified by email. The size of each award is expected to be SGD500.
