Proposal Submission Guidelines

We invite proposals for tutorials.

At the outset, please read the General Information regarding InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026 submissions, particularly the Language policy and Ethical Requirements.

Session organizers and speakers, who agree to participate, acknowledge that InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026 does not provide any financial or in-kind support for tutorials, including APBioNET travel grants. Limited organizational support for example, access to EasyChair and virtual room(s) will be provided.

We invite proposals for tutorials, of maximum 4-hour duration each (inclusive of breaks). We welcome proposals across a broad range of topics and levels (basic to advanced), providing an educational experience. These will be scheduled on the first day of the conference.

Proposal Format

Title and one A4 page summary including justification why the proposed topic is of relevance for InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026 audience

  • Names of speakers, incl. affiliation and email address

  • Tentative title of talks and 3-5 lines of content description

  • Short description of prior experience in organizing a workshop, tutorial, breakout session, symposium or conference.

  • A tentative schedule, including any hands-on sessions.

Abstract Submission

Please prepare an abstract for inclusion in the Book of Abstracts, using the template shown below:

Submissions will be evaluated by program committee members to eliminate overlap with regular session topics, merit and interest for InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026 audience, quality and completeness of the submitted proposal, prior experience of the proposers in organizing a breakout session or a conference, and potential to stimulate active discussion and interest in the APBioNET communities.
