Types of Submissions
InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026 offers submissions to four (4) tracks:
Abstract only (for oral or poster presentation)
Full Paper for initial review of complete original manuscripts for post-conference submission to Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics along with an Abstract;
Late Breaking Abstracts of recent high impact publications:
Proposals for Tutorials along with an Abstract.
Submission Format
All submissions must be prepared using the appropriate templates provided, depending on the track selected. Please note that once prepared, the files should be converted to PDF format. The Full paper and Proposal tracks require an abstract to be prepared as well, for compiling the Book for Abstracts.
If accepted, one unique author from each submission agrees to register for the conference and present the work described.
Submissions that are not formatted as requested risk desk rejection.
Conference Policy
All submissions must be written in English.
Authors are responsible for proofreading and language accuracy before submission.
As abstracts will be printed in the PDF Book of Abstracts, authors should not present any details/data/results that cannot be made available publicly.
Opportunities to publish post-conference in peer-reviewed journals will be provided to conference attendees and will go through journal-specific submission, review and separate article publication charge (APC) payment direct to the journal, if applicable.
Ethical Requirements
All submissions (excluding the Highlights track) must comply with the following ethical standards:
Work presented must be original and unpublished, not under consideration elsewhere
Plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are strictly prohibited.
Studies involving human participants or animals must state approval from relevant ethics committees.
Authors must declare conflicts of interest and funding sources, where applicable.
Submissions may be screened using plagiarism-detection software.
